Valhalla, NY - The Lady Vikings got off to one of their hottest starts in a long time this season but have hit some mid season turbulence but looked to get back on track with two games against Raritan Valley. They did just that, winning both games. One in a 5 set thriller and the other in 4. 

On Tuesday, the Vikings played Raritan at home and it was a thrilling 5 set match. The two teams exchanged wins through the first 4 sets meaning anything could have happened in that final one. WCC however, was able to keep fighting and pull out a very gritty 15-11 win in the final set. A strong showing from Alicia Bambace as she had 11 kills and 12 digs in the victory. 

On Thursday, SUNY WCC traveled down to Jersey for the rematch and this time the Vikings were ready. They won 3 sets to 1 and just outplayed Raritan and learned from game 1 to have the advantage this time. 

WCC will take the court again this Saturday as they head out to Suffern to play Queensborough and Kingsborough in a dual match. The first match is at 12:00 and the second game is at 1:15.
