We will remain open later on days of home games

**Note that we open on weekends when we have home games and special events on-campus, but our hours of operation are based on the event schedule.**

The Vikings/Lady Vikings are a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The NJCAA is divided up into 24 Regions across the United States. Westchester is in Region XV (15) which makes up the lower Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island. The Region is made up of 17 schools which have sports in Division I, II, and III.
 
All of Westchester’s sports are Division III except for Baseball, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball (Division II) and Bowling (Non-Divisional/DI).
 
WCC is also a part of the Mid-Hudson Conference. The Conference is made up of 6 schools in the Hudson Valley (Rockland, Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess, Orange, and Westchester). Each school is required to play one another at a minimum of twice per season per offered sport.

The mission of the Athletic Department is to serve the needs of our Student-Athletes by providing quality athletic programs that promotes the athletic development and retention of athletes. The department is also committed to supporting academics and complying with the academic standards of national and regional athletic associations.

NJCAA Mission Statement

It is the mission of the NJCAA to foster a national program of athletic participation in an environment that supports equitable opportunities consistent with the educational objectives of member colleges. The NJCAA's mission is to promote and foster two-year college athletics.
