Valhalla, NY - In a match up that for the past 10 years has favored Nassau Community College the Vikings looked to come out and change that fate. They did just that in a nailbiting 2-1 finish. 

The scoring opened up immediately as Celso DaSilva continued his great play and put one in the back of the net early giving the Vikings a 1-0 lead. 

As expected it would be a close game and Nassau tied the score at 1 less than 10 minutes later. 

It seemed like we were in store for a shootout but it turned into a defensive battle. The goal keepers locked in and kept the game deadlocked at 1. 

In the 87th minute WCC would break through and Jorge Gonzales would score the game winning goal and secure the upset win. 

Miguel Leal Diaz came up huge with 6 saves in the win. 

Westchester can't soak up the win too long as they are back in action Tuesday against Orange County Community College at 4:00 PM at Barrett Field.
