Buddy Caruso enters his third season as the Head Softball Coach at Westchester Community. Caruso brings vast Baseball experience to WCC. Prior to being named the Softball Coach Caruso worked as a scout and coach in Minor League and Major League baseball. He held various positions for the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals. As a player he was the Eastern Seaboard League Most Valuable Player for the 1977 season. Caruso was also a Senior Advisor for the Newark Bears of the Can-American League. He is a lifetime member of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association. A Westlake High School graduate he also served a four-year stint in the United States Navy.
Buddy resides in Hawthorne, New York.
