Donjeta Prelvukaj (Bronx, NY/St. Catharine) scored 15 points and added nine rebounds and five assists, and freshman
Jailine Ruiz (Bronx, NY/Bryant HS) added 14 points and four assists, but the Westchester Community College Women's Basketball team saw its three-game winning streak come to an end, 125-47 on Saturday at Viking Gymnasium. With the loss, Westchester is now 6-7 overall, and 3-1 in NJCAA Region XV play.
Sullivan (10-2, 5-0) got off to a fast start, outscoring the Vikings 37-8 during the opening stanza, as the Generals hit six three-pointers during the first 10 minutes of play. However, Westchester shot 50% during a terrific second quarter to go into halftime down 62-30. The Generals then shot 58% the rest of the way to cruise to victory.
Westchester enjoyed its best game of the season on the boards, out-rebounding Sullivan 51-48, however, turnovers made a huge difference as Westchester committed 40, while forcing only 14.

Tina Fabrizi (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck HS) had seven points, three rebounds, and three steals, while freshman
Sarah Placide (New City, NY/Clarkstown North HS) had a career-high 12 rebounds.
Westchester CC returns to action on Tuesday, Dec. 17 when the play for the final time in 2019, hosting Monroe College - Bronx Campus - at 5:00 p.m.
