(Middletown, NY) - Sophomore Gabriela Faria (Yonkers, NY/Saunders HS) recorded seven kills, two blocks, and four service aces, and freshman Stefania Rinaldi (White Plains, NY/Valhalla HS) added four kills, eight assists, six service aces, and three digs, but the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball team fell 3-1 to Orange Community College on Tuesday night in Middletown, New York. With the loss, the Vikings are now 3-6 overall, 3-6 in NJCAA Region XV play, and 2-3 in the Mid-Hudson Conference.

12 days after being swept by the Colts in three sets that went right to the finish, Westchester put up another spirited effort, falling 16-25, 15-25, 25-17, and 17-25.

Also for Westchester, freshman Cristina Stasolla (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Maria Regina) chipped in six assists, five digs, and four service aces.

Westchester CC returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 26 when the Vikings host Ulster Community College at 7:00 p.m.
