Stefania Rinaldi (White Plains, NY/Valhalla HS) continued her impressive rookie campaign with five kills, a career-high 12 assists, and six service aces, and sophomore
Melody Pabon (Bronx, NY/Celia Cruz) enjoyed one of the finest matches of her career with 11 kills, three service aces, and five assists as the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball team completed a tri-match with a 3-0 win over Kingsborough Community College on Saturday to finish the day 1-1. With the split, Westchester is now 4-8 overall and 4-8 in NJCAA Region XV play.
Westchester notched their fifth consecutive win over Kingsborough, and for the first time in three years, the match did not go to five sets as the Vikings cruised 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.
Also for WCC, sophomore
Gabriela Faria (Yonkers, NY/Saunders HS) added nine kills and four blocks.
Westchester opened the day with a 3-0 loss to defending Region XV Champion Queensborough Community College as the Vikings fell 25-14, 25-17, 25-18. Faria led the Vikings with seven kills, three blocks and two service aces, while Rinaldi added four kills, eight assists, four service aces, and five digs. Pabon chipped in four kills, three assists, and two service aces.

Cristina Stasolla (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Maria Regina) had six assists, five digs, and four service aces.
Westchester CC returns home on Tuesday, Oct. 1 when the Vikings host Dutchess Community College for a 7:00 p.m. Mid-Hudson Conference match. Westchester defeated Dutchess CC 3-1 on Sept. 14.
