Suffern, NY – Powered by a 20-point performance by Yenfry Paulino (North Rockland/West Haverstraw, NY) and 18 points from Kishaun Cole (Johnson & Wales Univ./Sleepy Hollow, NY), the Vikings won over Rockland Community College 86-67; evening up their region play to a 1-1 record and 3-5 overall.
 
Westchester's defense played a big role in their win, holding the Hawks (4-4, 0-1) to 38 first half points and 29 second half points.
 
Yave Cruz (Palisades Prep/Yonkers, NY) contributed in the Viking win with 11 points as well as 10 points from Omar Nkonde (Thurgood Marshall Academy/Harlem, NY) and Ed Beqiri (Archbishop Stepinac/Yonkers, NY) respectively.
 
The Vikings look to their next game tomorrow when they host #2 ranked SUNY Sullivan for a 7pm game here in Viking Gymnasium.
