Queens, NY – For those familiar with the game of basketball, a double-double is a common outcome for a player. A triple-double is a bit rarer, however, a quadruple-double is by far the rarest and hardest to achieve.
Adriana McFadden (Ossining HS/Ossining, NY) proved that wrong Saturday afternoon in the Vikings win over LaGuardia Community College.
The Sophomore put on a basketball clinic! 32 points scored, 16 assists, 19 steals, and 11 total rebounds all in 40 minutes. Her teammates were no slouches either!
Amanda Entsuah (AIM 2 Charter HS/Bronx, NY) netted a career high 22 points in her return to the Viking line-up as well as a career high 14 points from
Brianna Melo (Brooklyn Community Arts and Media/Brooklyn, NY) and a career high 13 points from
Krismelis Melo (LaGuardia HS/Bronx, NY).
Westchester's defense was firing on all cylinders racking up 21 defensive rebounds, 29 steals, and blocking 5 shots.
With the win, the Vikings move to 4-7 overall with 2 more games to be played in the 2022 calendar year. They will travel to Essex County College on Thursday December 15
th for a 5pm game in the Garden State and then close out the week with a 1pm game against Erie Community College on Saturday December 17
th at Viking Gymnasium.
