North Branch, NJ – The Vikings fell to the Lions of Raritan Valley Saturday afternoon dropping SUNY WCC to 2-2 on the year.
It seemed like an uphill battle from the start for the Vikings who were outscored in every quarter of the match. Westchester was led by Freshman
Baronique Russell who had a team-high 12 points and eight rebounds.
Chynna Mincey followed with a nine point, six rebound performance.
The key to the game was turnovers and foul trouble for SUNY Westchester. The Vikings had 30 turnovers over the 40 minute contest while only shooting 37% from the floor.
SUNY WCC looks to rebound back into the win column when they host Region 15 and mid-Hudson Conference for SUNY Ulster on Thursday November 16
th here at Viking Gymnasium. Tip-off will be at 5pm.
