Middletown, NY – Women's Basketball finished the season as Region 15 Runners up, as they fell to SUNY Sullivan in the Regional Final on Sunday, 65-28. 

The team played without the help of All-Region standout and leading scorer, Adriana McFadden in what proved to be a frustrating game where the offense was unable to find a consistent scoring groove. 

Krismelis Melo (Bronx, NY/LaGuardia HS) led the Vikings with 10 points on the afternoon.  Irene Maris (Bronxville, NY/Tuckahoe HS) chipped in with 6 points and 11 rebounds.  Brianna Melo (Brooklyn, NY/Brooklyn Community Arts and Media) also added 6. 
As runners up in the region, the Vikings move on to the NJCAA District East A/B tournament.  Their opponent and game time is TBA.
