Westchester would get on the board in the bottom of the second scoring three runs taking an early 3-1 lead. Kalamazoo would score seven runs over the next two innings to take the lead back from SUNY WCC. In the bottom half of the fourth, Gavin Carlucci would score Mike Kocovic on an RBI single to cut the Cougar lead to four. Tommy Poggi would add another RBI single cutting the lead to three scoring Nick Vendola. Kalamazoo would add to their lead in both the fifth and sixth innings thanks to a two-run homerun, sac fly, and RBI single. The Vikings added a run in the bottom of the sixth with a two-run homerun by Marc Stockhausen. Tommy Wilson would drive in the final Westchester run in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single to score Kocovic. 

The Vikings would open up game two with an early 3-0 lead thanks to a Tommy Poggi RBI double scoring Carlucci and Michael Tiseo two-run homerun over the centerfield fence.The Cougars would score 11 unanswered through four innings to take an 11-3 lead. Westchester would add a run in the fifth on an RBI groundout by Brandon Hernandez. The final Viking run of the game would come in the seventh inning on a Kalamazoo error.

Westchester looks to tomorrow when they take on #15 ranked Kirkwood Community College and Polk State College in a split doubleheader starting at 1:30pm at Polk State in Winter Haven.
