Valhalla, NY – The Lady Vikings dropped a Regional/Conference match-up against Dutchess last night 3-1 putting them at 3-6 on the year.
The first set would be a thriller with a back-and-forth battle with three different lead changes before the Falcons would take the win 26-24. Westchester would come back and tie the match at one with a 25-18 win in the second set. The third set would go back to Dutchess with a 25-20 win putting the Falcons one win away from taking the match. The fourth and final set DCC would take 25-12 completing the game and victory for the Falcons.
Leading the way for the Vikings was Sophomore
Julia Pawlowicz with a game-high 13 kills followed by
Ziacera Sexton who had 11.
Megan O'Hara had a game-high four blocks.
The Vikings look to right the ship with a double duel out in Garden City when they take on Nassau Community College and Monroe-Bronx at NCC. First match will begin at 12pm.
