The Vikings began the Region XV Tournament playing Orange County Community College on Sunday, May 11th. Starting the first game off strong, they won 7-4. Orange County would begin the scoring in the first game with three points in the top of the second. Westchester would quickly respond with a run in the second and two more in the third, tying the score. The Vikings would go on to score another run in the fifth and three more to seal the deal in the bottom of the seventh. Westchester was led by Elijah Villanueva, who went 2 for 2 with 3 runs. They also had runs from Freddy Heymach, Nick Vendola, Brandon Hernandez, and Jhonny Ortiz. Pitching eight innings for the Vikings in this first game was Vasilios Kelesidis who had struck out 5.
Later in the day, they faced Rockland Community College in a tight-scoring game. Rockland started off the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the third. They played the next five innings with neither team scoring. Due to fading light and low visibility, the final inning of the game was postponed and completed the following morning, on May 12th. In the top of the ninth, Freddy Heymach, who was 3 for 4, hit a home run to get the Vikings just a point behind Rockland. In the end, Westchester didn't have enough time to make up for their deficit, and took a loss, 2-1. Pitching for the Vikings was Michael Dawson, who struck out 9.
Westchester played the first elimination game in the Region XV Tournament against Rockland Community College later in the day. With high hopes, they came onto the field ready to take on what was to come. With a slow start in the first three innings, Westchester came out of the fourth inning with a bang as they had 10 runs. Unfortunately for the Vikings, Rockland would soon catch up in the bottom of the sixth as they scored 8 runs. With just a two point advantage, it was anyone's game. While Westcehster was unable to make any more runs, Rockland had 4 more in the bottom of the eighth. As WCC fell short, 12-10, their season had come to an end.
