Leading the charge was Kellan Higgins(Yonkers, NY/Archbishop Stepinac High School), who turned in an impressive 86, battling down the stretch to secure a 4th-place finish and anchor the Vikings' lineup. Steven Alvarez(Brookfield, CT/Danbury High School) followed with a steady 94, good for 11th, while Jack Canalin(Baldwinsville, NY/Encinal High School) added a 99, placing 15th.
The depth of the squad proved crucial as Bradshaw and Smith each carded 101s, tying for 16th, keeping Westchester firmly in contention throughout the day. Emily Hernandez(Hartdale, NY/ Saunders High School) made a strong statement, firing a 103 to finish as the top female competitor in the field.Â
The highlight of the day extended beyond the leaderboard, as Hernandez officially qualified for Nationals, set to take place at Jamestown Community College in Chautauqua County from June 2nd through June 5th—a major milestone and a testament to her consistency and determination throughout the season.

Westchester Community College turned in a strong, balanced performance on Monday, April 6th at Spook Rock Golf Course, finishing second overall as a team, trailing only Nassau Community College in a competitive field.
Higgins led the Vikings with a composed 92, earning a 4th-place finish and setting the tone early. Close behind was Alvarez, who fired a 94 to claim 5th, giving Westchester a powerful one-two punch near the top of the leader board.
Smith added a steady 97, finishing 8th, while Bradshaw and Canalin each carded 101s, tying for 11th and providing key depth that kept the Vikings firmly in contention throughout the round.
Curtis posted a 115, and Hernandez rounded out the lineup with a 120, as the team battled through a challenging course setup.
With multiple top-10 finishes and consistent scoring across the lineup, Westchester showed resilience and depth—continuing to establish themselves as one of the top teams in the region.
