The Lady Vikings Women's Volleyball team was victorious Thursday night, as they defeated the Generals of SUNY Sullivan by a score of 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-18). After dropping their first two contests of the season, the team has now won three in a row.
The team got off to a hot start running out to an early lead. While Sullivan kept the first game of the match close, WCC was able to get to 24 before a late flurry by the Generals kept the outcome in doubt. The Lady Vikings were able to finish and keep the momentum going in the following matches as they led most of the way to game 2 and 3 triumphs.
As the winning streak continues, the team moves to 3-2 on the season. They return on action on Saturday, September 23rd as they travel to Rockland CC to take on Kingsborough and Queensborough in a double dual matchup at 12 noon and 1:15pm.
