Miles Haughton (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck HS) scored 24 points, and freshman
Joe Zayer (West Nyack, NY/Clarkstown South HS) added 17 points, but the Westchester Community College Men's Basketball team fell 78-71 on Sunday to close the Mercer Mixer at Mercer County College. With the loss, the Vikings are now 5-1 for the 2018-19 season.
Westchester got off to a slow start, falling behind early, and trailing 44-28 at halftime. The Vikings made a valiant comeback during the second half to make things interesting, but were unable to overcome a huge early deficit to the 4-0 Sharks.

Devan Lawson (Spring Valley, NY/Spring Valley HS) scored 12 points.
The Vikings now enjoy a long Thanksgiving break, and return to action on Thursday, Nov. 29 when they host Dutchess Community College for their Mid-Hudson Conference opener at 7:00 p.m.
