Miles Haughton (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck HS) scored a game-high 33 points, and freshman
Joe Zayer (West Nyack, NY/Clarkstown South HS) added 22 points, but the Westchester Community College Men's Basketball game lost 98-91 to SUNY Orange on Thursday night at Orange Community College. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 7-3 overall, 2-1 in Mid-Hudson Conference play, and 1-1 in Region XV competition.
Orange CC jumped out to a huge early lead as the Colts led 31-18 midway through the first stanza, and 57-39 at halftime. Westchester turned the tide over the final 20 minutes, outscoring Orange 52-41, but the rally was not enough.

Devan Lawson (Spring Valley, NY/Spring Valley HS) added eight points, while
Jon Brennan (Irvington, NY/Iona Prep) chipped in seven.
Westchester lost despite out-rebounding the Colts 55-44, and converting 44% of their field goal attempts, compared to 42% for Orange CC.
Westchester returns to action on Tuesday, Dec. 11 when the Vikings travel to Rockland CC for a crucial Region XV/Mid-Hudson Conference tilt at 7:00 p.m.
