RAINKWON! FENTON'S CAREER-HIGH 32 POINTS LEADS MEN'S BASKETBALL TO 111-65 ROUT OF ROCKLAND

Feb 1

Box Score (Valhalla, NY) - Sophomore Raykwon Fenton (Bronx, NY/Holcombe Rucker HS) scored a career-high 32 points, which included six three-pointers, and Maxx Miller (White Plains, NY/Mount St. Michael) added 19 points of his own as the Westchester Community College Men's Basketball team routed visiting Rockland Community College, 111-65 on Thursday night at Viking Gymnasium. With the win, Westchester still has not been outscored by an opponent during 19 games this season.

It was actually a slow start for both teams as the Vikings opened up an early 2-0 lead, and the scored remained that way for several minutes before a 15-3 Viking run put the hosts ahead for good. WCC led 57-33 at halftime, and that was only the start of things to come. The second half saw Westchester run up and down the floor, outscoring the Hawks 54-32 during the final 20 minutes to break the 100-point mark for the sixth time this season, and second consecutive game.

Most notably, Westchester Community College was incredible from three-point range, converting a season-high 13 attempts from beyond the arc, almost half of which came from Fenton.

Four Vikings scored in double figures as Tremaine Fraiser (Port Chester, NY/Trinity Catholic) chipped in 15 points, and Gabriel Cruz (Bronx, NY/In-Tech Academy) added 13 points.

Westchester returns to action Tuesday, Feb. 6 when the Vikings travel to face a tough Ulster Community College squad at 7:00 p.m.
