Double Trouble: Fraiser, Miller net 24 points apiece as Men’s Basketball rolls to 97-87 win over Ulster

Feb 6

Box Score (Stone Ridge, NY) - Maxx Miller (White Plains, NY/Mount St. Michael) and Tremaine Fraiser (Port Chester, NY/Trinity Catholic) netted 24 points apiece, and Raykwon Fenton (Bronx, NY/Holcombe Rucker HS) added 20 points as the Westchester Community College Men's Basketball team rallied to defeat Ulster Community College, 97-87 on Tuesday night at SUNY Ulster. With the win, the Vikings still have not been outscored by an opponent during 20 games this season.

Much like Westchester's 71-61 win over the Senators on Dec. 5, the game was a battle as the hosts jumped out to an early lead, and did not seem to want to relinquish it. Ulster led by 10 at halftime, and seemed poised to score an upset win. However, WCC had other plans. Fraiser scored 16 of his points during the second half, and Miller chipped in 15 points over the final 20 minutes.

The Vikings had another solid outside shooting game, registering eight three-point baskets.

Westchester Community College returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 8 when the Vikings host Monroe (Bronx) at 8:00 p.m. the second half of a 'Think Pink' doubleheader with the WCC Women's Basketball team.
