(Hillburn, NY) - Sophomore Melody Pabon (Bronx, NY/Celia Cruz) and freshman Stefania Rinaldi (White Plains, NY/Valhalla HS) had six kills apiece, and three Vikings registered double digits in digs, but the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball team fell 3-0 to Rockland Community College in the Mid-Hudson Conference Semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 22. With the loss, the Vikings end the season with a 5-15 record.

Rockland swept Westchester for the third time this season, winning 25-22, 25-17, and 25-21.

Pabon and Rinaldi were two of the Vikings breaking 10 kills as Pabon had 10, while Rinaldi had 13. Sophomore Tia Sue (Sleepy Hollow, NY/Sleepy Hollow HS) also had a terrific match, registering 12 digs. Also for the Vikings, sophomore Gabriela Faria (Yonkers, NY/Saunders HS) had five kills, five digs, three service aces, and two solo blocks.
