(Suffern, NY) - Sophomore Gabriella Faria (Yonkers, NY/Saunders HS) had four kills, one block and one service ace, and freshman Stefania Rinaldi (White Plains, NY/Valhalla HS) had three kills and five digs, but the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball team fell 3-0 in their 2019 season opener to Rockland Community College on Tuesday night at Rockland CC. The match-up was the Mid-Hudson Conference opener for both teams. 

Rockland swept the match 25-19, 25-9, and 25-12. 

Also for the Vikings, freshman Cristina Stasolla (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Maria Regina) added nine assists. 

Westchester CC returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 12 when the Vikings host Orange Community College at 7:00 p.m.
