Melody Pabon (Bronx, NY/Celia Cruz) chipped in four kills, nine digs, and four service aces as the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball team closed the weekend in winning fashion, 3-0 to Bronx Community College on Sunday afternoon. The match was played at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY. With the win, Westchester is now 3-5 overall and 3-5 against NJCAA Region XV competition.
Westchester won the match 25-13, 25-20, and 25-15.
The ace was the name of the game as Westchester combined for 21 of them, and now has 112 service aces over eight matches this season.

Gabriela Faria (Yonkers, NY/Saunders HS) added nine kills, four blocks, and two service aces, while freshman
Cristina Stasolla (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Maria Regina) had two kills, six assists, four digs, and four service aces.
Westchester CC returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 24 when the Vikings travel to Orange Community College for a 7:00 p.m. match. Orange defeated the Vikings at Viking Gymnasium, 3-0 on Sept. 12.
