(Valhalla, NY) - 48 games in four different states highlight the 2020 Westchester Community College Baseball Schedule. After a 24-16 2019 campaign that marked the 10th consecutive season that the Vikings finished at .500 or better, Westchester CC will embark on an ambitious 2020 slate of games that includes some of the best competition in the northeast, an exciting spring break trip, and a full slate of NJCAA Region XV games.

After a season-opening trip to Maryland on February 29 and March 1, where the Vikings will face Cecil College for four games, Westchester will play home games on March 4 (Kingsborough Community College) and March 5 (Queensborough Community College) before embarking on a spring break trip to Florida for the first time since the 2017 season. Westchester will head to Central Florida for the Russ Matt College Baseball Invitational for nine games over a six-day span.

Upon returning home from Florida, WCC will compete in a dozen games before Region XV play begins, including a doubleheader at Division II powerhouse Mercer Community College on Sunday, March 22, and a pair of doubleheaders with District rival UConn-Avery Point on March 28 and 29.

Region XV play begins on Thursday, April 2 when the Vikings host Sullivan Community College to begin a four-game series. In addition, Westchester's series with Rockland Community College will take place from April 9-11. They will face Orange Community College from April 16-18, and 2019 Region XV Champion Ulster CC from April 23-25. Region XV play will close with a series against Dutchess Community College from April 30-May 2.

The 2020 NJCAA Region XV Championship Tournament will take place from May 8-10. The tournament will be hosted by Ulster Community College.

Westchester CC enters the 2020 season having won the NJCAA Region XV Championship six times over the last eight seasons, and the Mid-Hudson Conference Crown seven times during the same span. Head Coach Billy McClure enters his 11th season at the helm, and enters the 2020 season with a 323-149 career record.
