(Loch Sheldrake, NY) - Freshman
Jailine Ruiz (Bronx, NY/William Cullen Bryant HS) scored 20 points and added seven rebounds, and fellow freshman
Tina Fabrizi (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck HS) enjoyed a tremendous all-around game, with 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but the Westchester Community College Women's Basketball team fell 140-38 to Sullivan Community College on Tuesday night at Sullivan CC. With the loss, the Vikings are now 10-13 overall, and 4-3 against Mid-Hudson Conference/NJCAA Region XV competition.

Despite the loss, Westchester battled, grabbing 57 total rebounds, and turning the ball over only 15 times despite Sullivan's pressure.
Three Vikings grabbed rebounds in the double digits as
Donjeta Prelvukaj (Bronx, NY/St. Catharine) had 12, to go with four blocked shots,
Marisol Rodriguez (New York, NY/HS of Economics and Finance) had 11, and
Sarah Placide (New City, NY/Clarkstown South HS) had 10.
Westchester CC returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 13, when the Vikings travel to face two-time defending NJCAA Division III National Champion Hostos Community College at 7:00 p.m. The Caimans are currently ranked #4 in the NJCAA.
