(Suffern, NY) - Sophomore Stefania Rinaldi (White Plains, NY/Valhalla HS) had nine kills, nine assists, and seven digs, and freshman Ireana Olivio (Yonkers, NY/Maria Regina) registered 11 digs and six assists, but the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball team lost its fourth straight match, 3-0 to Rockland Community College on Wednesday night at Rockland CC. With the loss, the Vikings are now 3-8 overall, 2-5 in Mid-Hudson Conference play, and 3-7 against NJCAA Region XV competition.

Rockland swept the match 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.

Also for the Vikings, freshman Mikaelyn Hannon (Yonkers, NY/Peekskill HS) had five kills, while freshman Nehemie Fleurimond (Hartsdale, NY/Woodlands HS) added four kills and two service aces.

Westchester CC returns to action on Thursday, Oct.14 when the Vikings host Ulster Community College for their 2021 home finale. Prior to the match, Rinaldi, Hannon, and Angelarosa Garofalo will be honored as they will take to the court at Viking Gymnasium for the final time.
