Eisaiah Murphy (White Plains, NY/White Plains HS) scored 23 points, and sophomore
Noe Fleurimond (Greenburgh, NY/Woodlands HS) added 15 points, but the Westchester Community College Men's Basketball team lost for the fourth time during their last five games, 66-63 on Thursday night at Raritan Valley Community College. With the loss, the Vikings are now 7-5.
Facing an 11-2 Lions team that has not lost at home this season, Westchester gave the hosts all they could handle. A back and forth first half took a turn with 10 minutes to play in the opening stanza the Westchester took a 21-20 lead, and stayed ahead until the final five minutes of the game. The Vikings led 33-28 at halftime, and twice led by nine points, but Raritan Valley was able to chip away at the deficit, taking a 53-51 lead with five minutes to play. From there, there were two ties and four lead changes during the closing minutes of the game, but the Lions scored eight of the game's final 11 points to secure the victory.

Westchester Community College returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 when the Vikings travel to Essex County College at 7:00 p.m.
