Stone Ridge, NY - With his sixth 20 point game of the 2022-23 season, Ed Beqiri (Archbishop Stepinac/Yonkers, NY) helped the Vikings get to 2-2 in conference play, 5-6 overall, with a 61-53 win over SUNY Ulster.

The victory marks the first back-to-back wins for new Head Coach Andre Pennicooke and staff as they look to continue their winning ways to end the 2022 year. Beqiri is also credited for four assists, three blocks, and three steals at the end of the night. At the end of the first half, SUNY WCC held a solid 12 point lead over the Senators (2-4, 0-3). However, the second half once again almost proved to be the juggernaut for the Vikings who only scored 28 points but reluctantly held down the victory.

Kishaun Cole (Johnson & Wales Univ./Sleepy Hollow, NY), Omar Nkonde (Thurgood Marshall Academy/Harlem, NY), and Yenfry Paulino (North Rockland/West Havestraw, NY) also contributed to Westchester's win with eight points each. 

The Vikings look to move to the .500 mark in their next game which will be on Saturday December 10th when they travel to LaGuardia Community College for a 5pm tip-off.
