Loch Sheldrake, NY – The Vikings fell to a solid SUNY Sullivan team Tuesday evening dropping their record to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
SUNY Westchester had trouble breaking the tough press the Generals put on throughout the game while SUNY Sullivan capitalized on 27 turnovers by the Vikings. Westchester was limited to 21 first-half points.
More of the same came about in the second half for the Vikings scoring 28 points between the third and fourth quarters in the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse. Westchester would be led by Freshman
Milagros Alston who had a game-high 28 points.
Chynna Mincey was a powerhouse on the boards taking down 13 rebounds on the evening while adding six points.
The ladies look to take a well-deserved break getting back into the action on Tuesday, December 12
th when they take on Queensborough Community College in Viking Gymnasium. Tip-off will be at 5pm and will be streamed live via the Westchester Vikings Sports Network on Facebook.
