Box Score Loch Sheldrake, NY – Westchester fell to #10 SUNY Sullivan last night 80-65. With the loss, the Vikings are now 11-13 (3-4) on the year.
 
It definitely was a night to remember for Sophomore Ed Beqiri (Archbishop Stepinac HS/Yonkers, NY). Playing at the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse as a visitor is tough as it is, however, putting up 30 points against the number 10 team in the nation is a task within itself. The Vikings played better as a whole from the first time they saw the Generals this season, however, it seemed that their offense powered by Jay Alvarez was a bit too much for Westchester to handle.
 
Alvarez had a team high 25 points for SUNY Sullivan pushing them to 18-5 overall and 5-1 in conference play. The Vikings offense was assisted by Freshman Yenfry Paulino's (North Rockland HS/West Haverstraw, NY) 14 points and Sophomore Omar Nkonde's (Thurgood Marshall Academy/Harlem, NY) 12 points.
 
The Vikings next game will be tomorrow, February 9^th when they take on Essex County College. Westchester looks to avenge their double overtime loss to the Wolverines earlier this season. Tip-off will be at 7pm.
