Winter Haven, FL - Alex Korn (Pleasantville HS/Pleasantville, NY) earned his first collegiate victory in a 12-1 victory over the Ontario Astros. The win moves the Vikings to 15-2 on the year.

In a spot game down in the Sunshine State, Westchester proved why this team has all the makings of a well-oiled team. Korn would pitch a gem of a game, throwing five innings of one hit ball and striking out seven. Leading the offensive front of the game was Chris Sica (Yorktown HS/Yorktown, NY) who went two for four and two runs scored and Matt Soto (Archbishop Stepinac HS/Yonkers, NY) who also went two for four and added a run and an RBI. Adding to the Viking offense was Dominic Malandro (Tuckahoe HS/Yonkers, NY) who had two hits in three at-bats with an RBI. The play of the game came when left fielder Thomas Browne (Pleasantville HS/Pleasantville, NY) stole home on a suicide squeeze to add to the early Westchester lead. 

The Vikings looks to continue their hot streak as they take on familiar opponent SUNY Adirondack in an 11am doubleheader tomorrow at Chain Of Lakes Field Complex in Winter Haven, FL.
