Valhalla, NY - Head Coach
Billy McClure is pleased to announce the upcoming spring 2025 baseball schedule.
Coming off of what was one of the most historic seasons in program history, Coach McClure and his staff are eager to continue to put SUNY Westchester on the national radar. Billy, who is 22 wins away from 450 career wins, is coming into his 16th year at the helm of the Vikings. "It's been a wild ride," exclaimed McClure. "Coming off of our World Series appearance this past season with winning our first ever game in Enid, Oklahoma really got our returning players hungry for more."
Returning to the staff is Associate Head Coach Bobby Rodriguez who comes back to his Alma Mater after a season with the Iona University Gaels. "Bobby brings back a wealth of baseball knowledge to SUNY WCC," said McClure. "Between the [Danbury] Westerners and now Iona University, the team will hopefully grasp the knowledge that he has." Also coming back for another year is Assistant Coach
Marco Segno and
Stephen Hill. "Hill and Marco are key guys for me," said Billy. "Marco has been successful bringing a winning mentality with a no non-sense drive bringing the program to another level. Steve is great with the pitchers and calls a great game from the bench."
