Valhalla, NY – Despite a 3 for 4 day from
Michael Manganiello, the Vikings fell to the County College of Morris 14-5 Wednesday afternoon.
SUNY Westchester got on the board first in the bottom of the second inning thanks to a
Tommy Poggi RBI single scoring
Nick Vendola.
Marc Stockhausen would single to load the bases to bring up
AJ Falciglia. On an 0-2 count, Falciglia would be hit by the pitch giving him an RBI scoring Manganiello.
Morris would flip the game in the top of the third scoring five runs on four hits to take a 5-2 lead. In the top of the fifth, the Titans would add another five runs to blow open their lead to nine heading into the late innings of the ball game.
The Vikings would add three runs at the end of the game thanks to an RBI triple from Manganiello, and RBI Single from Poggi and another RBI single by Manganiello.
