Selden, NY – The Vikings continued to roll with an 11-2 victory over the 14
th-ranked Sharks of Suffolk Community College yesterday afternoon. The win extends their win streak to six games while improving to 14-10 on the year.
Both the Sharks and SUNY WCC would trade runs in the first and second innings before the Vikings would blow the game open in the top of the third scoring seven runs to take a 9-2 lead. From there, starting pitcher
Jackson Kossow would be able to coast to his fifth victory of the year. Kossow would throw six innings scattering three hits while striking out 14 Suffolk batters. Jackson's sole earned run in his outing puts his season ERA at 0.53 which leads Division II in the NJCAA. He also is averaging 14.82 strikeouts per game which is fourth best in Division II.

AJ Falciglia led the Viking offense with three hits apiece with Falciglia and Stockhausen adding two doubles each. Carlucci added two RBIs in hits five at-bats. Westchester's starting lineup all reached base safely in the contest.
SUNY WCC looks to stay hot with their next games coming on Sunday, April 14
th, when they travel to the County College of Morris for a 12pm doubleheader. Today's game against Western Connecticut has been postponed due to rain.
