Purchase, NY – The Vikings pelted out 15 hits and 13 runs enroute to their eighth win in a row with a 13-1 victory over Manhattanville University's JV team yesterday afternoon putting SUNY WCC at 16-10 on the year.
 
Seemed like status quo for the Vikings as five Westchester pitchers stepped on the mound and completed the seven-inning contest allowing six hits, no earned runs, while striking out eight Manhattanville players. Tyler Senft earned his first win of the year having the best line on the afternoon, two innings pitched, one hit and two strikeouts while seeing eight batters.
 
Westchester's offense continued to stay red hot. Tommy Poggi, AJ Falciglia, and Nick Vendola all would have three hits apiece while combined scoring seven of the Vikings 13 runs. Marc Stockhausen would etch his name into the record books recording his 100^th career hit in a Viking Uniform. Westchester would belt out six doubles on the day.
 
SUNY WCC enjoys their off day today as they look forward to opening Conference play tomorrow, April 18^th, when they host defending Region 15 Champion SUNY Sullivan for a 3:30pm game at Vikings Field.
