Valhalla, NY - Yesterday the Vikings took the court in Middletown, New York for their first conference game of the 25-26 season. They would face the Colts of Orange County in a match up that had Westchester dominating from start to finish.
The Lady Vikings jumped out to a quick 8-0 start and truly never looked back from there. Orange could not keep up with the pace of WCC and by halftime the score was 39 to 14.
It would be more of the same in the second half as Westchester would have a 19 point 3rd quarter and keep Orange County at bay only scoring 6.
The game finished by SUNY WCC winning by a score of 64-41. They moved to 1-0 in conference play and 5-2 overall on the season.
There were 3 double digit scorers in the game, Angelica Rios(Ossining, NY/Ossining High School) had 19, Saniya Bell(Ossining, NY/Ossining High School) had 14 and Daveya Rodriguez(Beacon, NY/Beacon High School) had 10.
