New Rochelle, NY - On Friday, November 21, the Athletic Department welcomed four new members into the prestigious WCC Sports Hall of Fame at Juliano's Restaurant in New Rochelle. With a crowd of over 120 people in attendance to honor the inductees, four individuals were presented with their Hall of Fame awards as part of the 2025 class. Now in it's 19th year, with over 70 individual members and several teams, the Sports Hall of Fame Honors those who have left an indelible mark on the landscape of Westchester sports, and have gone on to great achievements since. Â
First to be honored was Janice Gilroy. Janice has served the WCC Community for over 30 years in various roles and was the winner of the Eugene "Buzz" Keefe award. Her full Hall of Fame bio can be found

Lenny Capuano was a member of the 1971 National Championship football team. He was a two time All-Conference offensive lineman who was key to the football team's success during his time in the blue and orange. To read more about Lenny's Hall of Fame career, click

Sean Kenny was a two time All-American for the Vikings men's soccer team. His historic playing career continued at Kean University as he was a two time All-American there as well. He went on to coach at Concordia and St. John's Univeristy where his team won the NCAA National Title in 1996. For Sean's full Hall of Fame bio, click

Last of the night to be inducted was John Coffino, who both played and coached for the Westcos during the better part of the 90's. He helped Westchester to the program's 11th appearance at the NJCAA National Championship tournament in 1996 under Hall of Fame coach Ralph Arietta. John moved on to coach at several Division I colleges and within the NBA G League. He also has coached numerous professional teams around the world. To read all about John's career accomplishments, click
