This Thursday, the Vikings took on Manhattanville University in Purchase, NY. In a close call, Westchester took home the win, 14-13.

The scoring began with Manhattanville right off the bat, earning three runs in the first inning. In the next inning, they earned themselves another run, now having a four point lead on Westchester. The Vikings came into the top of the third ready to take action. They scored six runs. They kept that momentum in the fourth and fifth innings, scoring another five runs, where Manhattanville could only score four. Attempting to get the lead back, MU scored five runs in the sixth and seventh innings, where WCC scored another three. It was a close call, but Westchester secured the win with the lead early on.

Freddy Heymach would go 2 for 4 with 4 runs, followed by Brandon Hernandez who was 2 for 4 with 3 runs. Nick Vendola and Randel Weisner would each put two runs up on the scoreboard. Earning one run each for the Vikings was Lucas Feliciano, Jhonny Ortiz, and Michael Tiseo.
