The Vikings were in Suffern, NY yesterday for their game against Rockland Community College. Although they started off strong, they could not keep their momentum and lost 6-3.
The game started off the Vikings way with three runs in the top of the first by Nick Vendola, Brandon Hernandez, and Randel Weisner. The Vikings would keep that three-point lead until the bottom of the sixth when Rockland would score four runs. While the Vikings were unable to make any more runs throughout the rest of the game, Rockland got two more on them. Pitching five innings for the Vikings was Robert Keller who racked up 5 strikeouts; Christian Peralta also struck out 2.
WCC, seeking redemption, will play Rockland Community College again today, May 2nd, in Suffern, NY at 3:30pm.
