Valhalla, NY - In their second game out of the break Westchester faced off against the Division 1 Harford Fighting who traveled down from Maryland for the Saturday match up.

 

Throughout the first half it was back and forth between both teams. Constant up and down action and no team was able to pull away and gain any traction. Harford's size proved to be troublesome for the Vikings in the first half as they trailed by 8 going into the break.

 

In the second half it featured a different attack from Harford that hurt Westchester and it was a three point barrage. Ayca Kazak hit three in a row at one point to put the fighting owls up by 12 and it was too much for the Lady Vikings.

 

It was a great battle against a very good division 1 program. WCC will be back in action this Tuesday against Union County College from New Jersey who is ranked #8 in division 2 women's basketball.
