Biography

Sophomore Leonardo Vargas enters his second season at WCC after an outstanding career at New Rochelle High School where he helped lead the Hugenots to the 2016 New York State Class AA Championship. His favorite soccer team is Chivas, and his favorite food is Tacos. He is a fan of Banda MS, and the celebrity he would like to meet one day is Lionel Messi. Vargas's favorite color is Blue. After Westchester CC, Vargas hopes to become a Physical Education teacher.

2018 Season:
Started 13 games for the Vikings, and was a backstop for a WCC defense that allowed only 18 goals over 16 games. Registered an assist during a 3-1 win over Dutchess Community College on September 14.
