4 years Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator/Hitting Coach at Westchester Community College. 73-34 record in 4 years at Westchester. Entering his 5th year at WCC. Ranked 20th in the Country for Division 2 JUCO in 2020 and 2023.  2023 Conference Champions for Region XV. 2023 team statistics .337 Batting average with 21 HRs 135 2Bs 438 RBIs averaging 10.2 runs per game. Bobbby has coached 1 player of the year Luisbert Frias in 2023. He has also had 14 all region players and 11 all conference players during his stint at WCC. In 2024 Bobby was an Assistant Coach at Iona University Division 1 NCAA where he coached 1st Base and coached the outfielders and hitters. Bobby had 1 All MAAC First Team Selection and an All MAAC Rookie Team selection. Bobby returns to Westchester as the Associate Head Coach this year to the Vikings looking to expand on their run last year to the NJCAA DII World Series. He’s happy to be back where he started and looking forward to helping these young men reach their future goals.Â

Bobby is currently the Hitting Coach of the Danbury Westerners in the NECBL for the past 3 years. While with the Westerners he helped them secure their first NECBL Championship in 2021. The Westerners led the League in Homeruns in 2021 and 2023. Bobby has had 12 players drafted within the last 4 seasons in Danbury.Â
During his playing career, Rodriguez - a former team captain - amassed 74 hits, seven home runs, and 69 RBI's. He then played two years at Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut, where he started 36 of 39 career games, and was the Team Most Valuable in 2012.
In 2020, he was the Assistant/Hitting Coach of the Guilford Lumberkings of the Old North State League. The Lumberkings went on to become the champions that year with a record of 26-4
After graduating from Post University with a degree in Sport Management, Rodriguez served as Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Pawling High School from 2013-2015, before returning to his alma mater - Carmel High School - for the 2015 and 2016 seasons as Head JV Baseball Coach. He then went back to Pawling High School as Head Varsity Baseball Coach, where he led the program to their first section semi-final birth since 1996 in 2017, and a spot in the section championship game one year later.
