Miles Tompkins enters his first season as Interim Head Coach of the Westchester Community College Men's Basketball team for the 2021-2022 season. He will be tasked with restarting a program that did not compete during the 2020-2021 season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Tompkins's promotion to Interim Head Coach comes after he spent three seasons as the program's top Assistant Coach, taking on all aspects of the program under Head Coach Sean Kelly.
With Miles as an Assistant Coach, Westchester CC enjoyed tremendous success, finishing a combined 63-18, twice winning more than 20 games during a single season.
Prior to his stint at Westchester Community College, Tompkins served as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Medgar Evers College during the 2015-2016 season. He also served as a coach for Team Takeoff, a program that helped prepare High School basketball players to compete at the college level. Tompkins also serves as a coach with BACE (Be A Community Educator) Basketball, a position he has held since 2016.
