Box Score 2 (Garden City, NY) - Freshman
Mikaelyn Hannon (Yonkers, NY/Peekskill HS) tied her season high with 17 kills, and added five service aces, while sophomore
Stefania Rinaldi (White Plains, NY/Valhalla HS) broke two career-highs with 18 digs and 32 assists as the Westchester Community College Women's Volleyball closed a tri-match with Monroe-Bronx and Nassau Community College with a 3-2 win over the Express on Saturday afternoon at Nassau Community College. With the split, the Vikings are now 2-3 overall, and 2-3 in NJCAA Region XV play.
During the win over Monroe-Bronx, Westchester won the opening set 25-23 before Monroe rallied to win 25-16 and 25-21. Westchester then earned 25-22 and 15-7 wins to break a string of four straight losses during matches that went to five sets.

Ireana Olivo (Yonkers, NY/Maria Regina) registered a double-double with 11 kills and 20 digs. She added five service aces.
The Vikings opened the day with a four-set loss to Nassau CC. The Lions won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-18, before the Vikings rallied to win the third set 25-22. Nassau closed out the match with a 25-16 win.
Freshman
Isabella Masucci (Valhalla, NY/Valhalla HS) netted a season-high 20 digs, while Rinaldi had a double-double with 14 assists and 27 digs. Olivio added 12 digs and six kills.
Westchester CC returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 28 when the Vikings travel to Dutchess Community College for a 7:00 p.m. match.
