Valhalla, NY – The Vikings fell to 13^th ranked Orange Community College Thursday evening by the score of 88-78. With the loss, Westchester falls to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in Region play.
 
The first half of the ballgame was exciting to watch. The Colts (3-0, 1-0) would go up as much as 12 points powered by Romeo Aquino and Darius Boben before the Vikings would battle back to make it a 1 point game on a buzzer beater three-pointer by Kishaun Cole (Sleepy Hollow/Sleepy Hollow, NY).
 
Halftime adjustments by SUNY Orange helped hold the nationally ranked team in the second half to secure their third victory of the year.
 
The hard fought loss by SUNY WCC was powered by Cole who had a career night in a Viking uniform with 24 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Ed Beqiri (Archbishop Stepinac/Yonkers, NY) who also had a career night netting 21 points and 4 for 7 from beyond the arc.
 
The Vikings next game will be Saturday November 19^th at 2pm when they host Monroe-Bronx Express here in Viking Gymnasium.
