Vikings Win Streak Slashed By Skylanders

Valhalla, NY – The Vikings 10-game win streak came to an end yesterday against Receiving Votes Sussex County College 9-5. The loss moves Westchester's record to 18-3 on the year.
 
Errors and untimely hitting plagued the Vikings throughout the nine-inning affair. Westchester would leave runners on base throughout most of the game even though they would collect 11 hits on the day. Four Viking batters had two hits in the contest, Gavin Carlucci (Walter Panas HS/Garrison, NY), Luisbert Frias (Port Chester HS/Port Chester, NY), Tommy Poggi (Briarcliff HS/Briarcliff, NY), and Weston Baronian (Pascack Valley HS/ River Vale, NJ). Jackson Kossow (Somers HS/Yorktown Heights, NY) would earn his first loss of the season.
 
Westchester's next game will be on Wednesday March 22nd as they face Manhattanville College's JV team starting at 3:30pm on Vikings Field.
