Box Score April 8, 2023
Ananndale on the Hudson, NY – Westchester Baseball continued to stay hot taking the 2^nd game of the 4-game series versus Dutchess at Bard College on Friday, winning 9-0.  The victory is the 2^nd in a row for the Vikings in region play.

Thomas Browne (Pleasantville, NY/Pleasantville HS) took the bump for WCC as was dominant from the start.  He needed just over 90 pitches to finish off the complete game shutout.  He struck out 9 batters in 9 innings to improve his overall record to 6-1 on the season.

Westchester jumped out to an early 4 run lead in the top of the first and plated two more in the 4^th.  They scored single runs in the last three innings to put the game away late.

Luisbert Frias (Port Chester, NY/Port Chester HS) and Weston Baronian (River Vale, NJ/Pascack Valley HS) both went 3 for 6 with two runs scored on the day.  Baronian was a home run short of hitting for the cycle missing just the homer while knocking in 2.  Mark Stockhausen (Bronx, NY/St. Raymond HS) had two doubles on the day. 

The Vikings move to 26-3 on the year and 2-0 in Region 15 play.  They return to action on Saturday, April 8^th as they close out the series with the Falcons in a 12-noon double header at Vikings Field.
