Valhalla, NY - The Lady Vikings were back in action on Tuesday with another Region 15 matchup against the Hawks from Rockland County. 

The first set opened with the Vikings and Hawks going back and forth but WCC would quickly take control and coast to an easy win by a score of 25-10. The second set would end in similar fashion as it was close early but Westchester would once again prove to be too much and pull away with a final score of 25 to 10. 

The third and ultimately final set felt different as Rockland jumped out to a quick 4 to 0 lead. Westchester looked to be rattled but quickly reeled it in and went on a 9-0 run and ended up dominating until the end, winning the final set 25-13. 

The key contributors in the win were Sophomores Ashley Webber, Ziacera Sexton and Yulis Vidal. 

The Lady Vikings will be back in action on Saturday September 13th in a match up against Dutchess Community College at 12:00PM right here in Valhalla.
