Suffern, NY – Men's soccer got back on the winning side of things yesterday, completing a 2-0 shut out of Rockland.  After converting two scores in the first half, the Vikings played solid defense the rest of the way in route to the victory. 
Alabdiel Hernandez (Ossining, NY/Ossining HS) scored his 3^rd goal of the season to open the scoring.  Jason Duque (Sleepy Hollow, NY/Sleepy Hollow HS) added a goal of his own, his 3rd of he season, to extend the lead. 

With the win, Westchester improves to 7-7 on the season and 7-4 within Region 15.  This match completes the regular season for the Vikings as well as locks the team into the Mid-Hudson Conference Championship game to be played at Ulster Community College on October 19^th.  Game time and location are TBA.
