Coming off an emotional comeback win on Sophomore Day the Vikings look to ride that momentum to a Tuesday game against Bronx Community College. WCC finished their last game very strong scoring 3 goals in the last 20 minutes and continued that hot scoring with 4 more against Bronx CC.Â
Great team play was shown by Westchester as they had 3 assists on their 4 goals. 4 different players slotted the ball into the back of the net. Sophomore Francesco Giglio continued his great play scoring in back to back games. The other goals came at the feet of three freshmen Jorge Gonzalez, Celso DeSilva and Ditlum Bajrami. A fun note from this game is that Keeper Miguel Leal recorded his first assists of the season and that is always a good stat for goalies, not to mention his 4 saves on the day.
That wrapped up the regular season for the Vikings which means its time for the post season Soccer!. The opponent has yet to be determined but the Vikings will have a home playoff game right here at Barrett Field on Tuesday October 21st. Another great year for Mens Soccer team and they will look to make a great run in the playoffs. Â
